Poetry NEPTUNE'S PLAYGROUND

The sky is blue,
The sea is green,
But that’s not what excites me.
What excites me,
Is speeding through the silvery sheen,
Of glassy surf of curling kind.
I blow my mind when it rolls like this,
My bodies taut, my board and surf hiss,
As if the the rush I feel,
Were for me with them,
The board and surf, to reveal.

To them that know not sensation
Surf board and waves can bring,
I thank you Neptune,
For the surf.
